Build your mockup.
A mockup made here is for previewing and pitching creative — it's a close approximation, not an official Facebook rendering, and formats change. Check the live preview in Ads Manager and Meta's ad format guide before anything goes live.
What an ad mockup generator is
actually for.
Nobody approves an ad from a spreadsheet row. "Primary text, column B" means nothing to a client — the same words sitting under a page name and avatar, above an image and a Shop Now button, suddenly read like an ad. That's the whole job of a mockup: make the creative decision visible before anyone opens Ads Manager.
In practice, that shows up in three places:
- Pitching clients. An agency deck with feed-accurate mockups closes faster than one with copy tables. The client sees the ad the way their customers will.
- Stakeholder sign-off. Legal, brand, and founders can all react to a picture. Route the PNG through whatever approval chain exists, before media spend is on the line.
- Catching problems early. Headlines that wrap awkwardly, primary text that runs long enough to get truncated, images where the product sits in the crop zone — all cheaper to catch in a mockup than after the campaign is built.
What a mockup is not for: predicting performance. A beautiful preview says nothing about whether the angle converts. That takes real creative, real variations, and real spend data — more on that in section 04.
03 / Specs cheat-sheetFacebook feed ad specs.
Straight from Meta's docs.
These are Meta's published recommendations for a feed image ad, taken from their own ads guide (observed September 3, 2026). Meta revises formats regularly, so treat the guide itself as the source of truth on launch day.
| Spec | Meta's recommendation |
|---|---|
| File type | JPG or PNG |
| Aspect ratio | 4:5 recommended for feed image ads; 1:1 square remains a widely supported feed staple |
| Resolution | 1440 × 1800 px recommended at 4:5 (minimum width 600 px) |
| Primary text | 50–150 characters recommended |
| Headline | 27 characters recommended |
| Description | No official character recommendation on the feed image spec page — it's often truncated or hidden, so keep it short and non-essential |
| Max file size | 30MB |
| Ratio tolerance | 3% |

Two practical notes the spec sheet doesn't spell out. First, longer primary text gets collapsed behind a "See more" link in the feed — front-load the hook into the first line. Second, taller 4:5 creative buys more screen on mobile, which is where most feed impressions happen; that's why Meta recommends it. If you're deciding between the two toggles above, 4:5 is usually the better default for feed. For what goes inside the creative, see our Facebook ad creative best practices guide.
04 / After the mockupMockups show how it will look.
Admoji generates the actual creative.
Here's the honest limit of every ad mockup generator, this one included: it needs you to show up with the creative already made. The image, the primary text, the headline, the angle behind all three — the mockup just frames what you brought.
That's the part Admoji Ad Manager does. Paste your URL and it reads your live site — palette, typography, tone of voice, product imagery, the pain points buried in your own copy — then studies the ads already winning in your category from live Facebook ad libraries. One prompt later it generates the full funnel: scored angles, then creative for every stage, with Brand Identity Lock holding your exact colors, typefaces, and tone across the whole batch. Each creative ships with real copy attached — hook, audience, pain point, proof — so what lands in your export is a campaign, not a folder of pictures.
The two tools compose neatly: generate the creative in Admoji, drop your favorites into the mockup above for the client deck, get sign-off, ship. If you want the deeper walkthrough of how generation works, that lives on the AI ad generator page.
