Checkout Champ, reviewed.
Pricing, strengths, and the fine print.

Checkout Champ is a fast funnel-and-checkout platform with real strengths — and a pricing model you should understand before you sign. Every claim on this page comes from their own site or public review platforms, checked on September 3, 2026, with sources at the bottom.

01 / What Checkout Champ is

The Konnektive engine, pointed at ecommerce.

Checkout Champ comes from Matt Martorano, the founder of Konnektive CRM — one of the best-known names in direct-response marketing software. By the company's own account, Checkout Champ isn't a rebrand of Konnektive: they licensed the Konnektive "engine" and built a second product on top of it, aimed at mainstream ecommerce rather than the affiliate-marketing world where Konnektive made its name.1 Konnektive itself still operates as a separate product today.

The core pitch is speed and conversion: replace a browsing-oriented storefront experience with focused funnels — custom checkout pages, one-click upsells, order bumps — backed by a CRM and subscription billing. On Shopify, it positions itself as an extension that works alongside your store rather than replacing it: Shopify stays the storefront and catalog, Checkout Champ handles the funnel and checkout layer.2

Their marketing claims one-second page loads and funnel conversion rates of 20–30% versus a typical 2–3% storefront. Those are the vendor's own numbers — no independent audit exists — but the underlying architecture (purpose-built funnel pages, minimal checkout friction) is a real and reasonable approach.3

02 / Pricing

$300 a month — plus 1% of everything you sell.

Checkout Champ publishes its pricing, which we respect. As of September 2026 there are two plans:4

The number to sit with is the 1%. It's charged on gross sales processed, so it scales with your revenue — not with the value you get from the software. Their own FAQ also lists plugins that bill separately on your monthly statement: 3DS verification, fraud management, consent management, and card account updating.4

Monthly salesCheckout Champ (Growth)Admoji (Launch)
$50,000$300 + $500 = $800/mo$79 + $175 = $254/mo
$250,000$300 + $2,500 = $2,800/mo$79 + $875 = $954/mo
$1,000,000$300 + $10,000 = $10,300/mo*$699 + $3,500 = $4,199/mo

* Checkout Champ's Enterprise plan offers unspecified "scale based fee reduction" at $1M+/mo — the exact reduced rate isn't published. Admoji figures use published tiered pricing: Launch ($79 + 0.35% of volume) up to $250k/mo, Scale ($699 + 0.35%) at $1M/mo. Both computed from each vendor's published pricing as of Sept 3, 2026; add-on plugin fees not included.

03 / Credit where due

What Checkout Champ does well.

Reviewers consistently praise the funnel builder. On G2, users call the page builder "best in class" with load times "typically 1 second or less," and describe the subscription billing tools as among the best available. Support and onboarding also get repeated positive mentions, and one reviewer credits the switch with a 25–35% revenue increase for their store.5

The integration surface is broad — their site lists payment gateways from Stripe and PayPal through Adyen and Klarna, fulfillment connections like ShipStation and ShipBob, and messaging tools like Klaviyo and Twilio.6 If your operation lives on funnels and split-tests, this is genuinely capable software.

04 / Look closely

Three things to check before you sign.

1. The review base is very thin.

For software of this ambition, the public footprint is small: 11 reviews on G2 (a 4.9 average, but most labeled as seller-invited and clustered in late 2023), exactly one review on Capterra, and zero on Trustpilot as of September 2026.5,7 That doesn't mean the product is bad — it means you're buying with less independent signal than the ratings suggest.

2. The learning curve is real, by their users' own account.

Even inside positive reviews: "a bit confusing to learn at first," "you do need to either learn some tech skills… or hire a developer," "the setup of products can be a little tricky."5 Budget real setup time, or agency help.

3. Costs scale with revenue, and add-ons bill separately.

The one critical note in their G2 reviews is exactly this: "Cost — charge per order increases monthly fee."5 Between the 1% of gross and the per-plugin line items, model your true cost at your actual volume — not at the $300 sticker.

05 / Head to head

Checkout Champ vs. Admoji.

Both platforms give you high-converting checkout and funnels with a CRM underneath. The differences are the pricing model, the ad engine, and who they're built for.

06 / FAQ

Common questions.

Is Checkout Champ the same company as Konnektive?
Same founder, related technology, two products. Checkout Champ's own About page says they "licensed the Konnektive engine" to build a new product for ecommerce, while Konnektive continues to operate separately, focused on affiliate and direct-response marketers. Read our full Konnektive review.
How much does Checkout Champ really cost at scale?
At $250k/mo in sales, published Growth pricing works out to about $2,800/mo before add-ons ($300 base + 1% of gross). Plugins like 3DS, fraud management, and account updating bill as separate line items. The Enterprise plan reduces the percentage at $1M+/mo, but the reduced rates aren't published.
Does Checkout Champ replace my Shopify checkout?
Their positioning is an extension that works alongside your existing store — Shopify remains the storefront and product catalog while Checkout Champ provides the funnel and checkout layer on top.
What's the best Checkout Champ alternative?
Depends on your size and model. Admoji covers the same checkout/funnel/CRM ground at $79/mo + 0.35% with AI ad creation included. Sticky.io is the enterprise-leaning subscription platform at $499/mo + 1%. Konnektive remains the affiliate-marketing classic, though it has no self-serve signup or published pricing.
