Konnektive did not become Checkout Champ.
Let's clear up the internet's favorite wrong answer first. As of September 2026, konnektive.com is live, fully Konnektive-branded, with a working customer login and actively maintained documentation.1 No announcement of a rename, merger, or shutdown exists on either company's site — because none happened.
What did happen: founder Matt Martorano built a second product. Checkout Champ's own About page tells the story — Konnektive became "a massive success in the affiliate marketing space," and then the team "licensed the Konnektive engine and built a new product" aimed at mainstream ecommerce.2 Two products, one engine, one founder. Konnektive kept the affiliate and direct-response world; Checkout Champ chases DTC brands. (We compare that one separately: Checkout Champ review.)
02 / What it isThe direct-response workhorse.
Konnektive earned its reputation as one of the standard CRMs of the direct-response and affiliate-marketing era — routinely named in the same breath as LimeLight (now Sticky.io), with dedicated integrations maintained by tracking tools across the industry.3 Founded in 2010 by Robert Engel and Matthew Martorano and headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico,4 it grew into a genuinely deep platform. Its homepage lists the full arsenal: campaign management, subscription billing, affiliate tracking with commissions, one-click upsells, order bumps, decline salvage, chargeback and fraud management, fulfillment automation, multi-store management, and more.1
Its payment stack is a real strength: Konnektive documents an Advanced Transaction Routing Interface ("ATRI") with cascade profiles and BIN-level routing rules for managing transactions across multiple gateways.5 The company self-reports big numbers — "200M+ transactions," "60K merchants," "over $7 billion processed annually" — though none of these are independently audited.1
03 / The catchTry finding out what it costs.
Here's where 2026 Konnektive gets harder to recommend for a new merchant. There is no self-serve signup, no free trial, and no pricing published anywhere on konnektive.com — the only path in is a "Schedule A Call" form.1 Third-party software directories list a starting price of $499 per feature per month, but that figure comes from the directories, not from Konnektive, so treat it as unconfirmed.6
The public review record has also gone quiet. Across the three major review platforms, Konnektive's entire footprint is roughly two dozen reviews — a 4.5 on Trustpilot from 14 reviews posted mostly in 2020, a 4.8 on Capterra from 6 reviews, and a 3.4 on G2 from 4 — with essentially no new review activity in years.7 The software still runs and its docs still update; the public conversation around it, though, largely stopped in 2020 — right around when the founder's new product launched.
Review counts and ratings observed September 3, 2026 — Trustpilot 4.5/5 (14), Capterra 4.8/5 (6), G2 3.4/5 (4).7
To be fair to the product: the reviews that exist are largely positive. Users praised the breadth of gateway integrations, responsive support, reporting that didn't require a programmer, and duplicate-billing prevention. The recurring complaints were a steep learning curve ("many screens and pages to navigate"), no automated report scheduling, and vague decline reasons on failed cards.7
04 / Head to headKonnektive vs. Admoji.

Konnektive still makes sense if…
- You're an existing Konnektive shop with campaigns, integrations, and staff trained on it
- You run a classic affiliate/direct-response model and want the tooling built for it
- You're comfortable negotiating pricing on a sales call
Pick Admoji if…
- You want the same category of platform with published pricing and a free trial
- You want the ad engine included — creative generation, not just order processing
- You'd rather start today than after a discovery call
